Tampa, FL, Feb 13, 2020 – Focus Management Group (FMG), a nationwide turnaround and restructuring firm, has enhanced its team with the addition of Eric Carl. Based out of the firm’s Tampa office, Eric will serve as a Managing Director to complement the firm’s growing demand for its turnaround management and corporate restructuring services.

Eric Carl brings to Focus over 20 years of experience as an accomplished financial executive and has a vast array of knowledge in the trucking, packaging, manufacturing, machining, and the behavioral healthcare industries.
Since joining Focus Management Group, Eric has been focused on assisting our clients in developing cash flow forecasts and managing cash. His ability to work with client information and train staff in monitoring cash flow performance has been critical to our clients and their future success.
Prior to joining Focus, Eric served as Senior Project Manager for International Development Services, Inc. where his notable achievements includes changing the behavior of companies through critical path methodology. He streamlined the manufacturing process and codified sales process for a corrugated box manufacturer, resulting in a 125% year-over-year increase in EBITDA. Additionally, he designed and implemented a production-based incentive plan for a company, which resulted in a 45% increase in productivity over the course of six months.
During his time as a Public Finance Investment Banker with Bear Sterns & Co. Inc. and Raymond James and Associates, Eric spearheaded the structuring and pricing on nearly $5 billion of debt capital markets transactions and executed nearly $1.5 billion of Senior and Co-managed debt capital markets transactions as the lead banker supervising ten investment bankers.
Eric received his MBA from the University of Florida, Warrington College of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University. Eric also served our country as a captain in the US Army.
